Johnny Limbo & the Lugnuts played together for the first time on May, 29th, 1978 at a party as nothing more than a gag, playing music of the 50's & 60's.  To their surprise they were a "hit,"  and over 30 years later  their fame has taken them from Portland and the Northwest to the East Coast and a Far East Tour including Japan, Korea and the Philippines.

They have shared the stage with such 50's & 60's rock and roll greats such as Chuck Berry, Chubby Checker, the Righteous Brothers, Ricky Nelson, the Ventures and Paul Revere and the Raiders.

Their show emphasizes showmanship which creates an unbelievable on-stage energy which results in packed dance floors at every performance. "Rock and Roll will never die and the Lugnuts are the reason why."

Relive the 50's and 60's and be sure to attend the SANDY OKTOBERFEST!

Cloverdayle

Friday, September 6th   8pm - 11pm

$5.00 at the door (no advance sales)

Website

Cloverdayle, the duo consisting of married couple Chad and Rachel Hamar, hail from the not-so-predictable country outpost of Portland, OR. Since the birth of Cloverdayle in 2008, Chad & Rachel have had a relentless determination to bring their brand of country music to the masses.

In 2010, Cloverdayle teamed up with songwriter and producer Terry McBride, ("Play Something Country", "If You See Him, If You See Her"), and Dwain Rowe, (long-time band leader for Brooks & Dunn), to record a 4-song EP titled Young and Reckless. That project opened up numerous doors and has allowed the duo to embark upon their most recent adventure.

In the spring of 2012, Cloverdayle began work on their first full length album in Nashville called 9 Miles Down a 10 Mile Road. As avid songwriters, Chad & Rachel penned or co-penned each of the 13 tracks on the album. The debut single features Jason Aldean’s band and was produced by New Voice Entertainment, (Thompson Square, Parmalee). Appropriately titled “Like We Were Kids Again”, this nostalgic reminder about the carefree days of youth was recently heard on country radio across the United States and abroad.

Outside of the studio and songwriting worlds, Cloverdayle is best known for their energy-fueled and compelling live show and has had the privilege of sharing the stage with industry heavyweights including Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, Wynonna Judd, Josh Turner, Eric Church, Jake Owen and Lee Brice.

The Polkatones

This high-spirited Bavarian Dance Band consists of 10 members whose repertoire includes traditional "Oom-Pah-Pah", the famous Chicken Dance and even a bit of Louie, Louie thrown in.

They are known to "entertain the socks off" the crowds.

Dressed in typical Bavarian costumes, including lederhosen for the men and dirndls for the women; they also include the 11’ Swiss Alpine Horn in their many of their numbers.

The Polkatones play at Oktoberfests all over the Northwest, including world-famous Leavenworth, Washington, as well as festivals in California and Utah.

The Polkatones will keep you dancing, singing and having fun, which is what the SANDY OKTOBERFEST is all about.

Amanda Richards

Sunday, September 8th   11:00am - 12:30pm

Website

The music of Amanda Richards covers a wide and diverse field—from sensuous ballads to old-school rockabilly; soulful bossa-nova to laugh-out-loud country satire. In 2004, at the age of twenty-one she released "Not Always Sexy" as her first album followed by "Live at Mississippi Studios" in 2006 which was hailed as "spellbinding across the spectrum, and a standout whose star is on the rise" by the Portland Tribune. In 2009, Amanda released "Who Has Your Heart" to great reviews and a growing fan base, with music from the album being picked up by radios stations of different genres. Her latest studio album, the post-apocalyptic, zombie-themed "Play Dead" (2010), was praised by the Portland Mercury as “sweet and enduring, despite Richards’s bloody lyrical content. The end of days never sounded so sweet."

Though only twenty-eight years old, Amanda Richards has garnered a lifetime’s worth of experience. She has released three studio albums, one live album, and her music catalog contains over two hundred songs. She has headlined at Portland’s historic Aladdin Theater, appeared on "NPR's River City Folk" in an hour-long interview and has earned 6-Grammy nominations: Song of the Year, Best Female Country Performance, 2-nominations Record of the Year, 2-nominations Best Country Song.

Aisle of View

Sunday, September 8th   3:00pm - 4:30pm

Website

A fun mix of Reggae, Funk and Soul. Aisle Of View is a name that represents the collective focus of the band's energies. By focusing their collective visions together down the narrow path towards one common goal, they form their own Aisle Of View. That goal is to use their music to spread the message of love and unity, and the spirit of healing and wholeness, bringing people together through the universal language of the soul. It's a goal that they hope you all share, because if we all focus, as beings of light, down that same Aisle Of View, then we can create Heaven for ourselves here, on Earth.
